I love to plan on paper, to check things off my list, doodle, highlight, take notes. And I love to homeschool. I couldn’t find a planner that fit my homeschool’s needs, so I started creating my own custom homeschool planner. Each year I’d modify it a little, take out what wasn’t working, put in something new to add to my planner.
Then a friend saw my custom homeschool planner and asked if I could make one for her. I created a custom homeschool planner for her in our basement office, and then her friend wanted one, too. Before I knew it, I had enough orders that warranted finding a printer to give my poor home office printer a break. I paired up with a local printshop to support small business and to get the best deal on paper, ink, and binding.
My husband and I were born and raised in sunny Southern California. I graduated with my degree in Comparative Literature from Brown University. I went on to earn my teaching credential and masters in cross-cultural education, and taught high school for eight years. (I loved it.) We married in our 20s, had our three babies one right after another, and then moved out of state so I could be home with them. We lived in South Carolina and then moved to Ohio. I never thought the midwest would be such a welcoming place and perfect for raising our kiddos. We have homeschooled since 2011 and plan to continue until the Lord redirects our path. We use an eclectic mix, but mostly classical and Charlotte Mason methods. I direct a local Classical Conversations community.
So that’s a little about me. I’d love to customize a planner just for you and your homeschool. Planning takes time, but it shouldn’t take all of your time. I want to help you find purpose, peace, and passion in your planning.
